It was a telephone call with Sr. Mary Kay in the summer of 2006 that got me started on my path to becoming a mission leader.
To loosely paraphrase Thomas Merton, as I walk through the halls of my hospital, I imagine all the mission leaders who have prayed me to where I am today.
Sr. Mary Kay was the one that called me here.

Introduce yourself; show your ID badge.
Shake hands.
Sit down. Smile if appropriate.
Explain your role on the health care team.
