I got this portfolio today. It is a device to collect and organize all of the knowledge I will receive from the leadership development program that has just begun.
The stated goal of the program: “Develop the competencies that produce management strength and better business outcomes.”
In other words, I’m learning how to be a successful manager in my healthcare organization. In the next few months, I will experience classes on healthcare finance, ethics, human resources, team management and more!
The crux of the class is a process improvement project. I’ll be sure to keep you updated on this endeavour.
